CHAMPIONSHIP DAY CELEBRATION REWIND
06/18/2013 - 11:48am

(June 18, 2013)... The Rochester Knighthawks held their 2013 Championship Parade and Celebration on June 3rd to commemorate their back-to-back National Lacrosse League titles. The players and coaches enjoyed a full day of events in Rochester, which included a round of golf at Midvale Country Club.

Nick Rothwell captured the moments from the day and evening festivities. It was a historic occasion for the third oldest team in the NLL, as they became the first team to win consecutive championships since the Toronto Rock (2002-03). The Championship was the fourth in the team’s 19-year history.

“It’s a great day to be here in Rochester with all of the Knighthawks fans,” said Knighthawks Owner and General Manager Curt Styres on June 3rd. “As a young boy, I used to watch TV and one day dream of being in a parade and going to City Hall to get a gift. It’s a great honor to be part of this. I’d like to thank all of the fine people of Rochester and Tom Richards.”
