(May 5, 2013)… The Champion’s Cup visited Tim Horton’s this morning and fueled up for a full day of events as the team continued its Cup Tour. The National Lacrosse League’s most coveted trophy made stops at the Paul Road and Jefferson Road locations.

On Wednesday, Rochester Knighthawks forward Joe Walters, R. Thunder, Knighthawks Hall of Famer Jody Gage and Knighthawks Vice President of Sales John Catalano accompanied the Cup to the Tim Horton’s locations. At noon, the Cup will make an appearance at Bob Johnson Chevrolet (1271 Ridge Road) followed by a showing at The Distillery’s Greece location at 2:30 p.m.  The Cup will make its final stop of the day at Hurricanes Lacrosse practice at the American Legion field in Greece (344 Dorsey Road). Walters will visit with kids starting at 5:30 p.m. Broadcaster Craig Rybczynski will join Walters at both Greece events.

The Tour began Tuesday when Joe Walters and Catalano presented the Cup at the Northside School in Fairport. Approximately 375 people were in attendance to be a part of the Cup presentation.

The Champion’s Cup will make three more appearances today. Here is the schedule for the remainder of the week:

Wednesday, June 5
12:00 p.m. - Bob Johnson Chevrolet (1271 Ridge Road)
2:30 p.m. - The Distillery’s Greece location
5:30 p.m. - Hurricanes Lacrosse practice at 344 Dorsey Road
Thursday, June 6
12:30 p.m. - Mt. Hope Distillery

Friday, June 7
12:00 p.m. - Dick IDE Honda (875 Panorama Trail S.)
