Rochester Knighthawks forward Dan Dawson took over the @RocKnighthawks Twitter handle to answer fan questions Monday afternoon.  Fans were able to submit questions via Facebook and Twitter and the session was a great success with fans being able to learn unique things about rather new Knighthawks teammate Dan Dawson. Look out for more live tweet sessions coming up as the season progresses and the Knighthawks continue on their journey to defend the Cup.

Andrea Chevalier via Facebook: What do you think you have given this team that no other player can give? Andrea Chevalier – Facebook
Dan Dawson: I don’t think I have given this team anything no on else has.  Obviously, it has been a slow start to the season for both the team and me.  We got our first win this past weekend and are going to go into both Philly and Buffalo this weekend and bring our team to the next level.

@StephanieZD: What is your favorite part about being in Rochester so far?
Dan Dawson: How passionate the fans are about this team. Playing for and in front of passionate fans always makes playing the game more fun.

@MattHawkins28: What is your preferred stick setup outside the NLL rules?
Dan Dawson: I would definitely have to go with a Reebok 10k head, a Reebok 7k shaft and Monster mesh.

@SN_Arrows: Any advice to players that want to make it to the next level and stay there?
Dan Dawson: Never put your stick down, always try to improve your game, work out hard in the weight room and understand the game the best you can.

@DTBB_US: It’s great to see you so visible in the community! How do you get so much time away from home to spend in Rochester?
Dan Dawson: I am pretty lucky work a job with on shift work, so I have a good amount of time to spend here in the Rochester community.  I love getting involved and being able to interact with the fans and help out as much as I can.

@DTBB_US: Where did you and Paul grow up? How does Rochester compare?
Dan Dawson: We both grew up in Oakville, Ontario and I still live here.  Oakville is a suburb of Toronto and Rochester is more like a big city, so they are different in that way.

@chuckiemaggio: Who did you want to win the Super Bowl, the 49ers or the Ravens?
Dan Dawson: I wanted the San Francisco 49ers to win because I have a friend that works in the marketing department for the team.

@DGerowPR: What was your favorite advertisement from the Super Bowl?
Dan Dawson: Well, we don’t get the American feed up in Canada so I didn’t get the advertisements that you guys get.  So, I can’t weigh in on the commercials you guys saw.

@Ryan911T: Who was the shortest teammate you have ever played with?
Dan Dawson: Bruce Codd is by far the shortest teammate I’ve played with.  We played together in Arizona.
