(Rochester, NY)... Rochester Knighthawks players have a busy first weekend in Rochester as they fill stuffed animals and lacrosse nets over a two-day period.

Knighthawks fans first chance to meet the players is on Saturday, November 21st at the Build-A-Bear Workshop® store location at 443 Eastview Mall. Steve Toll, Shawn Williams, Scott and Shawn Evans, and Owner and General Manager Curt Styres will sign autographs and build bears to benefit CURE Childhood Cancer Association from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. From 3:00 to 4:30 P.M., other players visiting the store will include Andrew Potter, Craig Point, Bobby McBride, Mac Allen and Sid Smith.

On Sunday, November 22nd, the K-Hawks will open their 2010 National Lacrosse League Training Camp at Total Sports Experience in Gates (880 Elmgrove Rd). The Knighthawks will hit the floor from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. The practice is free and open to the public. Players and coaches will be available for autographs following the workouts.

The next weekend, the Knighthawks will hold two training sessions at TSE. On Saturday, November 28th, the K-Hawks will practice from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The second session is on Sunday, November 29th from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. Both practices are free and open to the public.

The Knighthawks’ season opener is set for Saturday, January 9th at 8:05 p.m. against the Buffalo Bandits at The Blue Cross Arena.
