2012 Rochester Knightingale Auditions!

Rochester Knightingales are seeking friendly, energetic, responsible individuals to represent the 2012 Rochester Knightingales. The Rochester Knightingales are the professional dance team for the NLL Rochester Knighthawks Lacrosse Team.
Rochester Knightingales:
· Perform at all Rochester Knighthawks home games
· Participate in community events
· Perform at a variety of local charity events
· Promote the Knighthawks through appearances and promotions
· Make lifetime friendships
Requirements:
· Must have high school diploma or GED
· Must be 18 years of age by September 30th 2011
· Must be able to attend all practices, games, scheduled appearances and related events throughout the season.
· Practices are Tuesdays and Thursdays 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM at World Gym on East Avenue or Harro East Gym.
· Must have reliable transportation.
· Team members must follow the rules and regulations set up by the Knighthawks, follow a dance team handbook, and sign an agreement with RET Talent.
· Formal dance or cheerleading experience is not a requirement, but is extremely helpful. If you are not a dancer, there are still opportunities within the Knightingales as a “promotional” member. As a promotional team member you would still be required to attend all home games where you are a welcome addition to the performing squad. What to bring to tryouts:
· Registration fee $35 Cash Only
· Completed application
· Non returnable photo

What to wear:
· Black sports bra or midriff top
· Black shorts
· Pantyhose
· Dance shoes or sneakers
· Business attire for interview
· Full hair and makeup-what you would expect to wear at a game
· No jewelry except wedding or engagement rings

· Attend dance classes in the community

1. Q: Are there height/weight requirements?
A: No, however you should look well proportioned in uniform.
2. Q: What are the age requirements?
A: An applicant must be 18 by September 30th, 2011.
3. Q: Can I participate if I have a full time job?
A: Yes. Most members of the team have full time careers, or are full time students.
4. Q: What is considered full hair and makeup?
A: Hair should be down, fully styled. Makeup should compliment your features. If you have concerns or questions ask a returning member or director.
Q: What type of photo should I bring?
A: Any photo of your full body is acceptable; it does not need to be professionally done.
5. Q: Where are auditions held?
A: Rochester Radisson Hotel. 120 East Main Street, Rochester NY 14604. You will have to pay for parking.
6. Q: How long are auditions?
A: Auditions are two days. You must attend both days of auditions.
7. Q: If I only want to be a promotional member, do I have to attend auditions?
A: If you would like to be considered as a promotional team member only you will be required to set up an interview. You will report when your interview is scheduled.
