Community Events & Programs - The Rochester Knighthawks have had a long-standing commitment to the community of Rochester. The Amerks and Knighthawks believe strongly in continuing the tradition of giving back to the community and providing for the less fortunate. Over the years the Amerks have helped raise money to fight Cystic Fibrosis, participating in such events as the Amerks at Your Service Dinner and the John Bednarski-Craig Charron Golf Tournament. The Amerks and Knighthawks have taken part in Foodlink's Check Out Hunger Food Drive, as well as the Toys for Tots Christmas Toy Drive.

This season the Amerks and Knighthawks have revamped the Coaches Corner Program that donates tickets to underprivileged children and organizations who would not normally have the opportunity to attend these events.
This year’s sponsors include Pepsi, Saturn of Rochester, Label World, the Democrat & Chronicle, DeCarolis Truck Rental, and WDKX.
